Cheapest feasible 3 monitor eyefinity setup

Hey guys. My current spec is in my sig but having seen someone playing bad company 2 on 3 monitors im wondering how much id have to spend to have a good enough system to be running 3 monitors. Obviously a new gpu would be essential and 2 new monitors but i could also sell my 2443bw to put towards the new monitors. So.....
whats the cheapest new components and monitors id need to run a 3 screen fps game. prefered resolution would be 1920x1200 but im not that fussed about going lower.
 
a 5870 or pair of 5850's? , everything is fine you just need to upgrade to atleast a 5850 and then purchase 3 monitors of your choice, whats your budget?
 
I got 3x Dell 2009w (1680x1050) refurbs for £300, HD5870 for £300 and the active DP adaptor for £80, so it isnt cheap! But i did buy the monitors a year before Eyefinity came out so wasnt all in one go. One 5870 is fine for high settings at this res (5040x1050) though I would love a second to max out the AA.
 
wouldnt it be a better idea to have to pair of 5850's, im not really all that keen on spending 80 quid on an adapter although the difference
2 5850's = £449.00
5870+adapter = £406.00

i have no budget atm im just thinking of saving and was wondering what sort of money id have to raise, obviously i was under no false illusions that it would be expensive.
but atleast i know that the rest of my hardware is fine.
what exactly is eyefinity? totally new to this btw
