Right guys I've got literally dozens of items of decent clothing I've worn once or not at all. I want to make some money from this having checked eBay out i'm surprised how much these items tend to fetch just because of the brands even though they're second hand!

Since there will be a lot of items I want to know what you guys do to keep the costs low when packaging and sending items? Normally when I sell items I just use Royal Mail and use boxes which I could pay anything between £1-3 from the post office or pay for those plastic bags.

What do you guys recommend? Thanks.

I only use Royal Mail these days if its a small parcel size and weights less then 1kg, Medium parcel is such a rip off compared to how they used to charge for packets.

For anything bigger then small parcel size or over 1kg I use MyHermes for cheap items and couriers for more expensive items :)

We do the same.

Is there any items out there maybe in bulk to make it cheaper packing the items? Sick of paying £1-3 to pack items which may only fetch £10 anyways.

I use MyHermes. Drop it off at the local shop. Decent service for the money.

Up to 10kgs they are, after that they are not competitive as you are paying next day prices for 3 day delivery.
£8.65 plus vat for a signed for 3 day delivery is a joke price.

I jsut do the ones that pick it up from my house. There's load of comparisons sites to use the cheapest one
