Lidl's chicken and beef are actually pretty good, especially when compared to the slightly more expensive equivalent at the major supermarkets.

+1, If you are anywhere near London this is a must. I went last week and got 5kg chicken breasts for £19. If you are happy cutting your own meat then you can get some great deals, I got a nice piece of Australian rump for £7.2 a kilo and got some nice cuts out of that, just a pity the weather will probably force me to cook this indoors rather than put it on the barbeque.
Oh yeah, and definitely -1 for the Makro stuff, made the mistake of purchasing some Rib eye steak from them and it was pretty dreadful

Road kill? dont buy cheap meat! go to a local butchers
