I was just wondering what would be the cheapest possible Small Form Factor PC I could build

I'm toying with the idea of using an old DVD player I have as a case for a SFF PC.
Wouldnt be used for anything serious, just playing music and stuff.
Also, I have a spare keyboard, mouse, monitor and speakers so they shouldnt be needed
Will be running linux so I dont need an OS either

Cheers,
Mitchel

Biostar Ideq C1 with a Celeron D should come in at about £80. You'd still need a HDD, optical drive and some DDR RAM. Definitely possible to do the whole thing under £200. I've only recently sold a Biostar 200N with an Athlon 2600 XP for £85 so it's doable.

Cheers. I've just found an old 40Gb drive lying around so that will save a few bob too

So far looking on here I have managed to get the price down to £149.16 including taxes
that includes

Abit IP-95 Micro ATX (Socket 775) PCI-Express DDR2 Motherboard 37.59
Intel Celeron D 326 2.53GHz (LGA775) - Retail 32.89
Crucial 512MB DDR PC3200 CAS3 (CT6464Z40B) 29.36
NEC AD5170 18x18 DVD±RW Dual Layer ReWriter (Silver) - OEM £19.96
Enermax EG285-SX-VB(G) 285W Micro ATX Power Supply 29.36

anybody know if this will work?

as mentioned before I already have the OS and Hard drive
