Cheapest way to import alcohol from Germany?

So yeah, i love drinking Jager and i have family and friends that said they would post it over to me if i wanted because its generally more than half the price over there. But the problem is getting it from Germany to Wigan

I would use an online company to get it because it is a fair bit cheaper but with their postage its not cheaper than just getting it from Tesco.
So it would be GREATLY appreciated if anyone could recommend a way to get it from Germany to here.

Might sound stupid but if you drink a lot of it filling up the boot of your car will probably be cheaper, especially as I wouldn't trust any courier to move glass around.

eurotunnel is cheap enough for a weekend. drive over and get whatever you want.

although if it's only jaeger you're after, it could well be cheaper in luxembourg, which is closer

Most couriers will not insure glass, its sent at your own risk.
