Forgot cats do that. Just read the MSDS, it's quite uninformative but does state not good for fishes!!
Salt water. Ever since i started emptying out my old salt water onto the patio we dont get any weeds or grass growing anymore.
How does one get excess salt water just lying around on a regular basis?
fish tank.
but salt water isnt exactly hard to make

The cheapest "weedkiller" if you want to save money is to pull them out yourself, with the roots of course
I can't see anything being cheaper than glyphosate, I think you can buy 1 litre for ~£12 but the value is buying 5 litres for ~£30.
The mix ratio is something like 50:1 so 1 litre is going to make 50 litres = 24p a litre if my maths is correct.
I thought salt was bad? Olden times punishment was to salt someone's land so stuff never grew again?
