A friend wants me to build him a gaming pc and wants everything except the gfx card, where he is waiting for the R600 to be released.

One thing, i have heard good and bad points about the geil ram if someone could clear that up for me and the only other thing is the case and that it might drag in a lot of dust.

Yeah the case looks nice ill show him that, and everyone keeps going back to that memory, must be good stuff.

He deffinetly wants the processor with the "4mb" cache so he wants to stick with the E6600, but yeah i aggree with you.

One thing i forgot to mention whats the difference between the DS3 + DS3P

DS3P is the revised version of the DS3, it is a crossfire board and has a 1333MHz FSB rather than the 1066MHz on the DS3. It also has a improved BIOS. Worth it over the DS3 :)

ok, what about this.

Very nice spec. Tbh for overclocking that CPU then a Noctua is a very wise choice over the AC7, its bigger more expensive and better :) Especially for overclocking its a must have. http://www.overclockers.co.uk/showproduct.php?prodid=HS-002-NC

If you can stretch then its highly worth looking at the P35 chipset boards.
http://www.overclockers.co.uk/showproduct.php?prodid=MB-084-GI this one has big heatpipes and is a very good overclocker + it has a super BIOS.

the e6320 has 4mb cache, and with a decent cooler like the noctua, will do 3.2+ ghz no prob
