Check for dead Pixels

Depends what resolution your screen is, the higher resolution the harder they will be to spot. As you can appreciate pixels are small so look closely, if you can't see any, don't worry :)

You'd notice them in the UDPixel colour screens if they where there....

Why would resolution make a difference? The pixel is the same size, no matter what resolution you use.


Dead pixels are usually black (or white), so will show up best on a black or white background. Stuck pixels are usually red green or blue (can also be a sub colour) and show up best on coloured backgrounds.

The lower the dot pitch the smaller the pixels. So yes, technically its not just the resolution that counts, its the resolution and screen size. :)
