Now then all,

here's the deal, ive just been promoted at work (woohooo go me) and well ive decided that i should treat myself for all my hard work. Fair play if you ask me?

So here's what ive bought so far...

Antec 1200 Full ATX case

ASUS MAXIMUS III FORMULA P55 Socket 1156 XFI Audio Card ATX Motherboard

OCZ 6GB (3x2GB) DDR3 1600MHz/PC3-12800 Obsidian Triple Channel Memory Kit CL9(9-9-9-24) 1.65V

now the thing is, im not sure of what else to buy lol... here's what ive been looking at...

Intel Core i7 860 2.80Ghz (Nehalem) (Socket LGA1156) - Retail + Operation Flashpoint: Dragon Rising Game (£228)

BFG GeForce GTX 295 1792MB GDDR3 PCI-Express Graphics Card (Single PCB)
(£359)

Thats basically the two main things im looking at placing in the beast, however i am looking at SLi with the graphics card.... im not wanting to expand on the price of those two but will they work well together???

i want to play Crysis and Arma 2 with ease oh and Call of duty mordern warfare 2...

Im afraid to say that the ram kit youve specced up is a tri channel kit used with x58 boards, the maximus formula III is a dual channel ddr3 board.
 
your joking lol,,, the compnay i got it off said it would work! grrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrr

it was like £80 for the 3 sticks,,,,, hmmmmmmmm

i guess i best send it back tomorrow......

but what about the other stuff.... :)
