Check if adsl is active on my line

Hi,

I am getting adsl disabled on my telephone line and was wondering if there was a checker online to tell me when it has been deactivated.

Got an ADSL router/modem about still?

It will lose sync when its gone.

Yeah i do, i would just prefer to check while i am at work so that i can order the other broadband when i know its clear.

You could keep checking your number in an online broadband checker. All checkers will let you know if you already have adsl installed.

Got a link that tells you? Samknows doesn't as far as i can see.

Registed on the BT website and then go to small and medium and business lines. Go to track a landline order and enter your details (your phone number will be included in your profile) and you should see whats going on.

Both the BTw Checker and Samknows will tell you.

In the case of BTw, the indication you've still got ADSL is:

Note: If you have an ISDN or Home Highway service connected to this number and you wish to purchase Broadband ADSL, this can be arranged through your Service Provider. You will only be able to keep one of your ISDN / Home Highway telephone numbers - generally you can choose any of your numbers but there are some rare exceptions. If you have an existing Broadband ADSL service and wish to change service providers then please contact both your new and existing service provider to have this service transferred.

and in the case of Samknows it's:

However, you already have ADSL on your line. To move to another broadband provider you need to obtain a MAC (Migration Access Code) from your existing provider.
