that psu is stupidly overkill, 700W would be more than enough.

The 920 overclocks to around the same level as the 940 does, and costs £200 less

that case is crap like all termaltakes looks nice but dosent cool well & will fall apart

get a wd 640gb drive as there faster

the ramage is also overpriced compared to other x58 mobos while not offering anything more

& as Ben_m says 920 & a 700w psu

I can thouroughly recomend the antec 1200 case, brilliant at cooling
I agree re getting a 920 but personally Id stick with your 1200W PSU, theres another thread where a guy has similar system to yours but with 2 280's SLI'd and he has problems with his 850W PSU not being strong enough, worked out total draw is 760W ish and when you allow for 80% efficiency it just doesnt cut it. your 1200 means you wont have to worry and give you scope for future in case you decide to add more

my plan is to put 2 4870 X2 and 6 hdd thats why im going to go for the 1200w
and like u say future proof

i love the case my m8 has one and air flow is great and it looks nice

im looking for the best of the best (kinda) and that stuff isnt bad. if u can give me a list of hardware which is the same and costs less than £2000 please let me know

ignore the 1200Watt thing though (thought it sounded excessive) the other post has proven power calculation wrong, an 850Watt would suffice for pretty much everything tbh
