Check my build (please)

looks pretty solid mate, i just sold that same ssd as i didnt think it was all that and i also have the same psu as the one you have chosen, its solid but the cables look cheap and tacky so you might want to think about braiding them in the future, i cant comment on the case as ive never had one but its seems from other peoples experiences on here you cant go wrong with it.

looks great, cannot believe the price of that 7870, i thought £161 was amazing. :)

Heres the H80: http://www.overclockers.co.uk/showproduct.php?prodid=HS-022-CS

And Faster RAM: http://www.overclockers.co.uk/showproduct.php?prodid=MY-030-TG&groupid=701&catid=8&subcat=1387

Overall only another £15. :)

Well worth it, great build. :)

The faster RAM kits make a lot of sense for the price :)

That MSI mobo I think you'll find is voltage locked limiting your OC, hence why I used the Asus Pro. I'm not too keen on spec'ing SSDs with the sandforce controller either.

If you don't want to wait on pre-order items fair enough. Ask in customer services for an ETA on the CLCs. Remember you can use the stock heatsink for now, you could do your build and make a build log on here. That should help you get to 100 posts for free P&P, then you can add extras like the cooler and more fans if you want them.

Best of luck with the build bud

A modular PSU might be easier in a small case like this. I'd also get regular sized RAM to avoid any future problems with coolers.

Ok, taken onboard the suggestions. Swapped out the mobo for the asus pro, swapped in a modular power supply (possibly a cheaper but comparable option?). Taken off the corsair heatsink (not looking to overclock, not for a while atleast, will the stock heatsink suffice?). @teppic, not sure what you mean about the RAM sorry, is this larger than usual? This is my first build in 6+ years so sorry for all the back and forth.

It's catch 22 dude. On these tiny mobos some tower coolers overhang the PCI-E lane which we need for the GPU, nevermind RAM issues. Using a CLC eliminates any issues.

I had toyed with the Patriot Mamba and a Xigmatek Dark knight tower cooler. That RAM is shorter but slower (2133Mhz) and the Dark knight is ok on these mobos too but it was out of stock

@OP might as well use the Seasonic in my spec. 550W is plenty and it's modular but also gold rated whilst being cheaper :)

Well if you don't think you'll ever overclock much then you can get a cheaper mobo, I was just pointing out that not having voltage adjustment will limit what you can tweak out of the CPU. The stock heatsink will do and you can OC a little bit if you wanted to on it.

Not sure you need the fans to be honest. Case comes with a couple anyway, if I was buying a fan i'd probably get a 200mm for the front.
