have been given a £550 budget to build a gaming pc for a 9 year old (xmas).
just need the case and everything inside it. monitor/kb etc not needed.
have chosen a case with lots of lighting as thats what the child likes.
could someone who knows check my build is ok please

Is an optical drive really necessary? The XFX PSU is made by Seasonic and has a 5 year warranty. Plenty of power too.

GPU has 4gb VRAM - 2gb can be a bit limiting in some games.

A 120gb SSD with 1tb storage is a better option in my opinion.

Case is personal preference really, but I think it looks quite cool.
