got e6400 with zalman 9500 + team xtreem 6400 ram on 680i evga mobo.
a bit unsure about some parameters in advance settings. i've got 3.2 clock right now @:
cpu multiplier - 8x
fsb - 1600
mem ration - auto
mem timings

a bit unsure about the following memory settings since i never encountered them before on any of my previos mobos:
trrd:5
trc:31
twr:6
twtr:11
tref:7.8uS

volts:
cpu core:1.525

not usre about the following voltages, like with advance mem timings never came across it before:
cpu fsb:1.4
nForce SPP:1.4
nForce MCP:1.5
SPP<->MCP:1.2

I get cpu on load 42C and system on 38C
checked via nVidia monitor

any help with adjusting my oc would be helpful. i had a read through oc guides on forum but some things still baffle me, used to very simple on my nf7 - adjust cpu multipler, fsb and voltages. I havent touched any other settings becides the one mentioned above

thank you.

and check my 8800gts 320mb oc plz.
got it set on 650/950 in ntune.
have it running with the cooler @ max and get 65C on load
with all those clocks got 11094 in 3dmark06

1st off, that's not a bad clock on the 88gts there!

2ndly, thats quite a high voltatge for 3.2ghz, what temps are you running at load? (orthos - 42°c seems VERY low for this voltage) managed 3.8ghz out of my e6400 on water, but it did 3.6 on air stable (24 hour orthos blend)

I would set the mem ratio to 1:1, or just set it to 800mhz with the cpu:fsb unlinked (same as 1:1) your ram wont be overclocked with these sttings. I'm not sure on the timings of your ram, as there are different variants, if the stock is 5-5-5-18, then leave it, but there are variations of the ram that run at 3-3-3-8. chuck us the part number or a link, and we'll tell you what it needs to be set at.

What do you use to define cpu and gpu load?

my memory is cas4 os i wouldve guessed 4-4-4-12?
what about the advance mem settings and all that nForce spp and mcp voltages?

oh yeah heres another question is casmemeory worth it? they sell one on ocuk 6400 corsair for 300 quid, semms a bit steep to me, but i noticed that everything is quicker when i run my pc @ 2.6 oveclock bu keep my timings at 4-3-3-10. cant clock my fsb any further tho. i see u have urs at 3.6, how did u acheive that with such tight timings?
