Been many years since I built a PC, thinking about having another go. Will this spec all work together ok?

Do you really need a 2tb and 4tb SSD? I have a 1tb with all my games/programs installed and it's barely full. 2tb would suffice, surely?

You are likely right, might just stick with the 2TB. Just so many games sizes these days, some are hugh. Could always add more later, when prices might lower.

An all rounder PC - gaming, hoping to learn blender and maybe unity or similar, plus some coding. Most likely wont Use it for streaming got Plex set up with a mini now for that. Also for some artwork editing with affinity software

I was not sure whether to wait for the 3950X now, if it would make much difference.

You might have a bit of a wait for a 3950X. Even though release date is set for November they might well be in short supply at launch. Just look at the 3900X as an example.

Are you looking for better value components ? Or you happy to go with the more expensive options ? More expensive doesn't always mean better is what I mean.

Apart from the case and graphics card I’m not set on the rest, open to suggestions and any money saved for similar performance.
