Itsbeenwell documented on here I was after a new bike. I never expected to get something this nice for the cash. I pick it up on Monday/tuesday, but Ihave viewed it and paid a deposit. its an 04 plate and has done 1503 miles!!!

Me Happy! and the colour suits my blue white and black leathers perfectly!
Unfortunately the skyline in the background does not come with it!

Awesome mate.

What biking experience do you have? Is it your first?

Do you mind me asking how much you got it for?

I hope you have a grin as big as mine when I picked up my K4 Gixer 6

got it for £3750! got to be the bargain of the century. the seller is well gutted it didnt go for more, should have put areserve on it! lol Cant wait now. I havnt had a bike since I sold my NC30 last year. Had an RS125 for18 months before the NC30. so not first bike. not bad for a 20 year old though! :D

still got 2 months warrenty left on it aswell

Sweet dude.

You basically have taken the same route that I took. I went through mopeds till I was 17 then got a rs125. Took my test and got a nc30, then a bandit 6, then a nc35, and finally onto a gixer 600.

Enjoy it mate but take care!

I'lldo my best, going to do ron haslam race school advanced at oulton park, update my track experience with some teaching from the pro's. then get somerace fairing and do track days as well as the obligatory sunday blasts and using it for work on nice days.

Beautiful bike and excellent price, enjoy it (i know you will)

just ordered a tail tidy, a seat cowl, a braided line kit (with some new fluid) and a single seat exhasut hanger. I'll probably get some more tidy indicators too.
I couldent leave it alone!

Nice R6 there.
Some thing about R6's that sets em apart from the other 600's.
Does that model benifit from swapping the front profile from a 60 to 70?
Read that it makes a big difference to the turn in.

Robb

changing to a higher profile slows the turn in, but gives more stability, the 60 turns in far too sharp for a light bike, good on the track but not particularly nice on a road with anything remotely like an uneven surface :)

Nice looking bike though, definitely need to get rid of the missile launcher that is strapped to it though, a nice carbon akrapovic should sort that out :D

yep, I'm thinking a titanium arrow exhaust at the mo, with a tail tidy and nice indicators. I will swap the 60 to a 70 and drop the forks in the yoke a little to compensate in the geometry

Very nice indeed! I think that really needs a smaller can though, that one there is HUUUUUGE :D

Enjoy it as much as I enjoy mine and you will be grinning all the time :D
