should i use the same processor then??? or should i pick another one?{snip}
If absolutely sure PC won't be used for any heavy tasks (e.g. video encoding, etc NOTE: playing movies/DivX/music/etc works fine even at a CPU running 1000MHz - tried & tested) then save some more by getting a Intel Celeron D :cool:

I'm not 100% on this, but I don't think the Asrock conroe mobo is compatible with the celeron D's on sale at OcUK as the celerons are 90nm and the board supports 65nm chips iirc

Though hp7909 is essentially correct that for word/internet/desktop tasks, all you need really is the cheapest compatible components (though 1Gb of RAM will make it run happier, but on a tight budget 512Mb should do the job adequately)

I've finally settled on this, its just in my mums budget but im unsure on the case - can i save money getting a cheaper case or will this one do fine??

also my mum does wnat to do some picture editing using photoshop, will this run ok wiht onbarod gfx??

I say 1GB should be the minimum considering the onBoard GFX, which by the way is very good - see here & Xpress 200 vs. GMA 950. Picture/photoshop, you need a faster/better processor & adequate RAM. So keep the 805D & 1GB RAM ;)

Case, I find the Antec NSK4400 better looking :) Besides its newer especially the PSU.
