Check Specs before buying

Fractal cases are quite decent too and much cheaper.

Sound wise - not sure why we've suddenly all gone back to using onboard. Personally I still find a dedicated card MUCH better. When a decent card's around £25 (xonar DX) there's really no excuse unless you desperately need the PCIe slots.

On a build with this sort of price tag it would be foolish to NOT take the top end card, there's a new gen of consoles around the corner so you can expect the lazy console ports to need silly amounts of extra graphics and processing power soon. Considering they're about 30% of the PC games market... worth having.

Are the 2Gb cards going to run 2560x1440 in games without issues? From reading elsewhere on here, when trying to game at that res the 4Gb cards seem to be recommended.

Yes, the benefits of 4Gb cards is tiny, especially considering the price difference. Put the money elsewhere in the build if you have to spend it.

I've yet to run into problems even with Skyrim fully modded with high resolution texture packs etc and my system only has a pool of 2Gb in SLi.
