This is not for me but for a friend who has a budget of £500. I can get the above for £515 so not too far over budget. I am just looking for confirmation that this will all work happily togehter (mailnly the RAM and Mobo)
Also if anyone can suggest a better alternative I am open.

Cheers

What about DVD and HDD? if you have some already are they SATA or IDE?

But the PSU is nasty and I wouldnt trust it to power a case fan.

As you cant overclock the above system, why not buy from OCUK and get a H67 board and a decent PSU?

He is looking to play the new Star Wars game, Guild Wars 2 when out and then some older games. I forgot to mention he has a DVD drive and HDD's already. However a new one probs wouldn't come in wrong as his are old, but they are SATA

Can't believe the prices of HDD's:eek:

Cheers for the info. I think I will put the spec Stulid put up back to my friend and see what he thinks. Might be an order going in this weekend.

for the power supply look at something like an xfx, or at a push ocz 650w. the ram MAY work but the kingston genesis grey would run better i reckon. plus the site does it on offer a lot
