Check this spec (first timer.. be gentle)

Hey all,

I am speccing my watercooling kit for a 650D build, so I know I am missing fittings and a Phobya 200mm rad for the front, but can anyone else see a problem?

I want compression fittings, but I'm not sure how many angled connectors etc I will need.. hence why I've left them out. Also, I've chosen the 7/16" tubing, purely because I wasn't sure of what the best size would be. I don't want uber fat, or standard skinny. As you see, all technical terms here! :p:D

All I know is I require a T piece as I've seen someone use that as a drain, and thought it looked like a good idea.

I'm after a standard blue fluid colour. I fancied the pastel blue, but prefer a "clearer" fluid look.

Don't really fancy coloured tubing as I want to add a bit of light (no uv).

I also thought High FPI rads were better for low speed high pressure fans.
 
Few things that can be improved:
you need 2 kill coils per 1l of water
You may want to go for the advanced version of that res, it has more options for fittings
why is one block copper acetal and other copper plexi?
Consider THIS or the plexi version HERE. £5 cheaper for the same thign essentially
Can the 650D accommodate a thick (60mm rad+25mm fans) radiator?
 
Not sure about a 60mm rad, but it managed a H100 rad with push pull.

Regarding the plexi / acetal blocks. I like the thought of watching the water pass through the CPU block, but not so much on the graphics cards (+they are upside down so it seems a waste).

The high pressure means you can have lower speeds. General rule of thumb, high FPI=high speed fans. When choosing fans for rads you need to look at both RPM and CFM

I've already got 3x Scythe AP-15s :)

The only thing left for me to do is to check out pictures of the plexi 680 blocks in action. I'm not 100% on them at the moment.

The water used is just standard distilled or deionised (aka battery water), with a bit of the dye, yes?

As for the bridge, just buy the bridge of your choice and get 2 fitings for it :D

If your cards are on a standard spaced mobo then you just get the 2 slot bridge and 2 fittings for it.

PS - plexi bridges are due, might be worth waiting for :)

I would tentatively say get a mayhems premix as it's easier for a beginner to just put fluid in and forget about it.

However, seems to be an unpopular choice with a few people on here, because of the cost, or something.
 
It's also abou convenience, but good point about the cost.

with dye you can easily get hold of DI anytime really, however, If I need to change my loop then I dont want to have to wait a day or two for an OcUK order :/

Also, isn't clear X1 just ultra pure and biocide?
