Could some kind soul just check over this spec before I fire the buy button and make sure I haven't made any glaring errors?

Ta :).

E: Meant to say that my max budget is £1k, yes I'm slightly over that but just wondering if it can be tweaked to be better in any areas whilst staying under that cap.

Is the 650W enough? Just concerned it might be a bit close.

And looking at the Silverstone cooler, it has to be installed with the top cover off, not too keen on that! Appreciate the advice.

Is the R9 270 really not a good card then?

Also in the future would a 650W allow me to go SLI?

It's not that the 270X isn't a good card... it's that the 280X is a better card :P

The 650W PSU won't allow you to CF in the future...

This is probably what I would go for...

YOUR BASKET
1 x MSI Radeon R9 280X Gaming Edition OC 3072MB GDDR5 PCI-Express Graphics Card £245.99

1 x Gigabyte G1.Sniper M5 Intel Z87 (Socket 1150) DDR3 Micro ATX Motherboard £148.99
1 x Samsung 250GB SSD 840 EVO SATA 6Gb/s Basic - (MZ-7TE250BW) £139.99
1 x Be Quiet Power Zone 850W '80 Plus Bronze' Fully Modular Power Supply £119.99
1 x Avexir Venom Series 8GB (2x4GB) DDR3 PC3-17200C9 2133MHz Dual Channel Memory Kit (AVD3U21330904G-2CIG) - Green Light £79.99
1 x Corsair Carbide 330R Silent Mid Tower Case - Black £74.95
1 x Corsair Hydro H80i High Performance Liquid CPU Cooler £71.99
Total : £1,136.88 (includes shipping : £12.50).

Slightly over the cost of you're spec... but you get a 280X and a PSU that should allow you to CF in the future if you want to :)

Although my spec is already slightly over budget... I would probably go a little further and get the cooler that TheReaperGuy has specced...

You would be better with the non matx board. Also no point in LED ram in a non windowed case.
