I know (within a week or two) when my MOT, insurance and Tax are due.

There is really no excuse to ever forget!

That is what I like to do.

My car is over 10 years old so when I go for an MOT I get it done a little bit early so if it fails I can still use it as I have a few weeks before the current one expires.

Some people are stupid enough to not remember to get their car MOT'd.

Excuse my ignorance but is MOT not yearly? I renew my MOT and insurance every February, every year, I never look at the certification, just put the new one in the car after its done. So If you got it in month X, renew every year on said month?

I just bought a new car, MOT is due in September - my garage always sends me a notification about a month before it is due. I normally get a service a couple of months before that, that sorts most things out anyway.
