Checking how many texts/minutes you have left

How do different operators allow you to check how many minutes/texts you have left for the month?
And do you actually check very often?

With 3, you can connect to Planet 3 and check your usage there. Go over your allowance and you'll receive a text message stating so. You can then check on Planet 3 via the handset (or PC) how much your racking up in charges.

Whenever I go online with my N95 8GB I tend to just take a quick look.

o2 show it on their o2 site if you log in (according to the o2 monkey when i asked) but i'm yet to find where it exactly is

I just clear my usage at the start of every month on the phone and monitor it through there.

text ba or al to 150 with tmob and you get a lovely details reply of unbilled usage and allowance left

Another reason i love tmob

Yep, I get a text each week from T-Mob, and you can also check manually via ringing 150, or logging on to their website

www.o2.co.uk -> Sign In -> Enter user name and password -> View My Bill -> Online Bill -> What I've Used

Goes into good detail of every call/text you've made.

T-mobile send me a wee text letting me know how much I have left.

Dial 44555 with Voda and then press 1 when prompted. It'll send a text to your phone with ** current account balance and mins left. This is of course if your on contract, otherwise its *#1345# send for PAYG.
