I have a morbid fear of eating anything which has gone off. I will not touch food which is past its sell by date. Yet we eat cheese.

Cheese is nothing more than rancid stale and lumpy milk, compressed and with germs added. Mmmmm.

I cant think of any other food we eat which is something else that has gone off or is rotten. Anyone?

Blue cheese is nice, the mould is wonderfully tangy, hate cheddar when some tit leaves it out and it goes dark yellow and hard though :(

Liquor too. It's even worse than beer. It's merely bacteria excrement that's been separated from some of the dead bacteria and the sugars they were eating.

I think you're got some kind of problem.

Cheese is one of the best things mankind has discovered.

It's one of the few reasons for keeping France around.

Fresh vegitables are sort of gone off seed and cow . It all depends on your perspective and my perspective is not to think too hard about where my food came from.

Thought that was a combination of spices used to cover the rancid taste of meat that has in fact gone off? Meat that has gone off, can be cooked, and the bacteria is killed off, but the taste of rancid meat remains, so they used spices to cover this up...!!

Nothing like British Curry, that was developed by the British Army during the war, as they wanted curry dishes when they got back to England..!!

I eat cheese about once a week, that's it.

Any more is condusive to fatness. But then I am slightly too obsessed with things like that.

yeah, how unfair is life, when we have no air we make horrible burning lactic acid, where as yeast make lovely alcohol, I know which one I'd rather have pumped into my blood stream as i suffocate or run :D
