I need a very nice cheesecake for tuesday morning.
has to be from a shop (i cant cook it!), so sainsburys / tescos / asda whatever.

fruit or not, not bothered. gotta be good!

for what reason can't you make it? If it's because you don't think you'll be able to - it's really easy and takes 30 minutes, if it's because you physically can't make it, umm, i dunno, i make mine.

small carton of Philli cheese p
pint of whipping / double cream
4 lemons
caster sugar
Digestive / hobnob biscuits
butter

Crush your biscuits and melt your butter, mix so that when butter goes harder again it will keep the biscuit together and mix, spread over a spring form tin and stick in fridge...

Whip your double / whipping cream till firm (holds peaks), then mix in philidelphia, use a lemon zester and zest the skins of the 4 lemons into the mix, then using a seive, squeeze all 4 lemons over the seive into the cream / cheese mix, add sugar to taste, once you're happy with taste, stick it over the biscuit base and return to fridge.

Lemon cheesecake - Done :)

no. i cant make it. no need for a reason, want to buy one :]
i'm sure yours would taste great, but this is not possible

if you're crazy enough to find new york too bland then try the raspberry one.

with cream it was ok, but for me (with normal bland tastes) it seemed bland haha.
but its not for me I guess, so it can still be on the list hehe

banoffee maybe? i quite like lemon cheesecake as well. I'm a big fan, considering i didn't eat one until I was 18 or so as i couldn't get over the name. I'm still to try carrot cake at the age of 25.

Go to Sainsbury's , then go towards the Bakery at the cake counter they do an awesome NY cheesecake(Slices)... also 3 for 2 offer :)

or also at the bakery in the fresh cake section they do a cheesecake (brownie) cheese cake :P nom nom

Alternatively, £1.50 from Tesco Express and it tastes great.

Shame that you're no where near Buckingham...................

My advice would be to get a plain one and see if you can get some fruit coulis, such as mango / passionfruit to serve with it. I think that some supermarkets stock these, usually near the jelly and stuff.

Know anyone that can order you a cake from Brakes? Chocolate Fudge Lumpy Bumpy.... got this the other week for someones birthday and it was lovely (chocolate fudge cake, topped with chocolate truffle, vanilla cheesecake, chocolate topping and chocolate shavings). Pretty rich mind you , can't manage that much of it, still good though! :)

I used to have a few contacts in Brakes, been a long long time since speaking to them though :(
