I've got the dragon. As said it's a bit dated as it's only got 80mm fan holes, but it's livable or you could mod it. If you get it in a nice colour like black or blue then it's a nice case. Plenty of space inside and very good build quality.

We use the Scorpio ones at work... Great for workstations... Loads of room, 2x80mm(1 Behind HDDs) at front and 1x120mm at rear. Easy to work in and very well made... Only thing is that the Black is not actually black...

Built like tanks, able to survive being dropped down stairs with no ill effects in my experience.

Dated now, but the best of the old steel generation - there designs were copied endlessly as for about 3 years they had it all 'the best way' to do things.

Shame they have not faired well in the Aluminium / Gaming / Low noise era, just a throwback to the old tank cases time.

so like they can be made silent yeh ? and theres pleanty of room so like i found a dragon with side panel its gonna cost bout £80 that ok or should i be paying a lot less or has anyone got any for sale ?

:)

I've got a full tower here that is built like a brick outhouse :)

Inside you've got quite a lot of room, but unless it's changed in the past couple of years they don't have removable motherboard trays so can be a bit fiddly to install.

They can be made pretty quiet from memory.

They are a good, inexpensive no-frills case. A great choice if you aren't bothered about shiny aluminium, I just ordered a mATX model for my next build, I can post pics if you want when it arrives.

The pricing is only a few pounds more than you'd pay for a generic piece of crap with thin steel, I'd say they are well worth it.

And as for the removable motherboard tray issue - ask yourself how often you will change the motherboard.

I've got the midi (I think version) not the full height one already posted. If you bought 4 decent fans and put 2 in the front and 2 at the back it would be pretty quite and cool. Or you could quite easily mod it (I think you can get up to 2 120mm's at the front and 2 92mm at the back).

P.S Mine only cost £30, and the side panel would on be around £15-£20 at the most.

I've got a green dragon, they call it mid tower but it's near enough a full tower, here's an internal pic of mine, I haven't actually got the motherboard pictured in it anymore but you get the idea.

OI thats my Antec 1000 AMG painted Green! :p
have to say antec 1000 series and the dragon are like twin brothers when it comes to design...suprised there wasnt a court case about it being copied

Still got my silver dragon after 4 years and still looks the same as it did when i bought it,had loads of different mobos/systems in here and lined with akasa sound proofing and a vantec fan controller didnt take much to make it silent.
was £58 4 years ago and is proberly the best bit of cost/usage kit ive had.
keep looking at new cases but i havent seen one that makes me go wow time for a new one although the antec 180 was close.

The maker is one I personally hold in good regard, although I have not dealt with them for 18 months.

But usually the cases are tried and tested designs to a high standard.
