Cheiftec

Yeh I want one, exactly the same interior wise (although some of the later ones did away with the purple fan holders).

However I would not class it as a ATCS normal type case, as its a dragon with a expensive front ;)

I've got an Antec Plusview which like several others is based on the Chieftec Dragon. Great case and excellent build quality.

To this day I don't think the overall quality, space and options for modding that a Chieftec Dragon offers has been bettered. Shame that they seem to be so difficult to find for sale these days. If OcUK was able to find a supply of them somewhere I'm sure they would have no problems shifting them.

I have to say that the problem is depth (or length) from front-to-back, the HDD cages are just too close to the mobo. You have to tuck your IDE/SATA/Power cables underneath and it all gets tight and cluttered.

Also the Matrix I have (full tower) has a divider between the bottom (mobo) and top (drives, PSU etc) halves, and it can be a pain routing cables through this. Also the 3.50" bays are squashed between this divider and the 5.25" bays, making floppy drives, smart card readers or fan controllers tricky to install. Although the bay is removable, so you can screw them into their cage but it's the wiring that's tricky, I can't imagine many that have power, floppy, USB etc cables that will reach from the mobo/PSU and out of the fascia...

It also has 6x mounts for 80mm fans and a single 90mm fan mount at the top-rear. It is incredibly quiet considering it has 5x 80mm fans fitted (which I bought for 49p each :P ).
