"Chernobyl Diaries" is an original story from Oren Peli, who first terrified audiences with his groundbreaking thriller, "Paranormal Activity." The film follows a group of six young tourists who, looking to go off the beaten path, hire an "extreme tour" guide. Ignoring warnings, he takes them into the city of Pripyat, the former home to the workers of the Chernobyl nuclear reactor, but a deserted town since the disaster more than 25 years ago. After a brief exploration of the abandoned city, however, the group soon finds themselves stranded, only to discover that they are not alone...

Acting and characters seem annoying, however source material is awesome. Will keep an eye out for this.

Anyway, horros normally bore me but this looks like it may have potential if it isn't too Ameican, if it were completely Eastern European/Russian i would imagine it to be better.

From the trailer it doesn't look handycam-pov styled. That worked great in Cloverfield, but I do agree it can be annoying if it's not done properly.

This looks like a mix of proper cameras and shoulder cameras. So you'll get the odd bouncy scene (whilst running away from things)

Looks like a decent generic 6.5/10 scary movie! looking forward to it!

Looks quite promising! I hope it's actually got some really gritty and gripping scenes in and not just lots of running around in the dark, could go either way judging from the trailer.
