Hey

Has anyone been to Chessington within the last few days? I'm just curious how packed it has been. Me and the Brother are deciding if to go with the old man and his girlfriend's kids (Me and my bro will be parting company when we arrive lol). The long queues just annoy us so if it's too bad we probably won't go.

Real sorry for the lame thread, I just don't know anyone who has been recently and need to know :D

I wasn't sure if the little buggers had gone back yet. If they haven't then yeah it will be murder.

Can you walk to the front of the queues with those things? They seem too good to be true.

Last time i used one, im pretty sure they close the gates for the first 45 mins or something, allowing you to go on rides..something along those lines.

people still go chessington?

years ago in primary school it was the place to go...now its thorpe park, although alton towers is still the daddy, but so far away

legoland, drayton manor, chessington, thorpe Park and alton towers and i believe alton towers is the the win :p but you'v gotta do a lot of walking to get to different areas!

btw when i went the drayton manor, i felt like i was in a foreign country because it was full of asian people and girls in hijabs. no word of a lie me and my mate went on the bumper cars and we were the only white guys in the bumpers AND the queue of people waiting for their turn. i aint racist i just found it very odd

A few years ago i think madame tuasaudes (sp?) changed their policy. Originally Chessington was for the big kids and Thorpe park for the younger ones. Then I think it was due to the fact that Thorpe park had much more land to expand into (for the big roller coasters etc.) they changed around.

...it's a world of adventures.

RE: Alton Towers.. Don't bother with the fast track.. just go in the single-rider queue and you usually get on within 10 minutes :D

Middle of the week during term time.

My brother once went with school and the longest they had to queue was 20 minutes! Most rides they could practically walk straight on to.

Last time I went we were ther for 4 hours and I got on 2 rides that, together, probably lasted all of 60 seconds :(:p
