Chicken Question!

my milk is often +5 days and never smells or looks funny..

you can tell when it starts to go off because you get tiny white flakes in your coffee that float to the surface.

That's just where the bits round the rim of the bottle have gone bad and fallen into the cup when you pour it ;)

Every week I cook at least 1kg of chicken up and then store it in a Tupperware container in the fridge and portion out my lunches for the week from there. Once cooked, and as long as you store it correctly it will be absolutely fine. Been doing this for the last 4 years or so and never once had a stomach issue.

Cooked chicken I would be happy to leave for a long time. Raw chicken I think is a different matter.

Depending on how cautious you want to be/who you are feeding it to, it's a toss up between sniff test and just throwing it out. If it was just me, I'd be fine with sniff test but if I was feeding others I'd definitely chuck it

Unless it was for the mother-in-law in which case it would sit on the radiator for another couple of days until she turned up? :p
