Childrens door name plaques

Probably doesn't help, but there used to be a couple who made them out of wood and painted them bright colours at a local market (Thoresby Sunday market)

They were very nicely made and not too expensive either, better than the plastic crap you would get in a shop.

Could be worth a google search to see if they have a site?

Sorry i'm cynical. Work in gifts and merchandising its all tat to me honest :O

Cant help you with a name though unless you want to order 500 minimum? or pay about 70 quid for a one off :p

It's getting to the right time for Christmas craft fairs, so if you want something different, I'd recommend looking into one of them. I used to get dragged to a lot of these when I was younger, and there was always at least one person who did wood engravings. Most of the time they'd have their stuff with them to make items on the spot.

This, if you don't want tat :)

The early learning centre has some great 3 letters with animals on them, and you can get them a little cheaper online, though I can't remember where.

My Girlfriend loved them....

I saw a guy in the Billingham market a couple of months ago making 3d names out of wood for kids doors. Maybe as said before you should check out your local markets and car boots.
