Having read the article... Are they really? Or does Male Chimp just decide he likes Female Chimp, so tends to share food and copulate with her as a matter of course?

Rather than - I give you meat, therefore I expect sex some time soon please?

Or have I overestimated humans, and actually when the boyfriend cooks for me he's actually just ensuring the likelihood of nooky in the near future?
