Rapid-D said:Wow some of you are really missinformed or have not done enough research to have any form of a valid argument. Yeah...the Chinese must be very weak being one of the oldest civilisations still living today.
Vibez said:I'm talking physically, they are a very short and weak race physically, I've never seen a tall or well built chinese man. Sorry if someone thought I meant as a country they're in a weak position or whatever, clearly not.

Either way, in a battle with the West I don't think China would be wise to engage. They can't afford a war despite being one of the richest country's in the world, which is ironic. They only have 130 nuclear warheads. Even then their surface to surface missiles would not be able to reach mainland Europe or USA. They'd need to adapt their naval submarines to accomodate for the warheads. Even then, they wouldn't stand a chance against the UK navy as they would be detected miles of. The new Astute class subs would easily intercept and relay any information to the new Type 45 Destroyers. Now, a task force of lets say our carrier HMS Invincible, 4 Type 45 Destroyers, 6 Frigates and 4 Astute class subs would easily strike fear into any nation seeing as the Navy has the most modern tech.
Globsec said:There is considerable uncertainly in published estimates of the size of the Chinese nunclear weapons stockpile. In the late 1980s it was generally held that China was the world's third-largest nuclear power, possessing a small but credible nuclear deterrent force of 225 to 300 nuclear weapons. Other estimates of the country's production capacities suggested that by the end of 1970 China had fabricated around 200 nuclear weapons, a number which could have increased to 875 by 1980. With an average annual production of 75 nuclear weapons during the 1980s, some estimates suggest that by the mid-1990s the Chinese nuclear industry had produced around 2,000 nuclear weapons for ballistic missiles, bombers, artillery projectiles and landmines.
