I don't see a thread about this anywhere. So here goes. I'm not going to try and do a Flibster (no-one can match his professionalism and talent at providing all the details on each event.... we miss you!). Rather this can be just a discussion thread on the race which is about to start in at most 5 minutes.

Its wet in China and the whole grid appears to be on Intermediate tyres, just a pity that the Bridgestone Inter tyre is so inferior to that of Michellin. Then I would say that being a Ferrari and Michael fan.

Parade lap starts.

Fantastic race. MS overtakes the five cars in front of him and now leads the Championship on race wins.

Thats whatevery race sould be like... so all it needs now is sprinklers at the side of every track and we'll get overtaking every race.

Sorry, I haven't been taking part in the online discussions this half of the season, because just about every race has been twice as exciting as the races before July :D

This is definitely the best end to a season since 97 (and hopefully won't end in similar circumstances)

just got back from my mates house, 6am today, 5am next sunday, week after even earlier to drive to silverstone for tourings cars. But it is all worth it, an excellent race today, plenty of action and talking points!

Shame about alonsos wheel change, took about 10 seconds off him so would have been a close finish, i love the way the commentators are raving about alonso taking time out of shumi on last few laps, hes not going to push it for no reason he had a decent cusion!!! Kubica was unlucky, had an awsome race to get where he did before putting slicks on too early!

The commentary team were getting a little carried away with themselves at some points ;). I think it was just after Buttons first pit stop, Brundle asked Allen if Honda had changed the tyres, Allen said yes. Did Honda change them, nope, Allen, a complete muppet as always :(.

Anyway, fantastic race, Schuey following up a rather amazing qually session. I think it underlines just how good both he and Ferrari are when they are up against it.

Apart from that it was the usual story, Kimi retires with mechanical failure (a Merc engine that sounded rather rough indeed), Fisi speeds up and slows down all afternoon, DC getting a bit dozy and turning in (which did Red Bull send him out with so much fuel at the start).

Bet Heidfield aint going to be buying a Honda anytime soon, wonder if Sato may face a bit of punishment after that.
