No. Hamilton hasn't been 4 time world champion for no reason. All politics aside he is still very much in with a chance as it stands.

I love the idea that, they are strategists therefore they must be right, that they were wrong repeatedly in only three races which cost them major points in each race somehow doesn't prevent you deferring to their judgement on this.

I'm happy to defer to their judgement in most cases because they're right. The fastest car sets the strategy, which more often than not wins the race, and the other cars see no other strategy that will beat them. You've already conceded that if RBR had used the two stop strategy with no safety car then they wouldn't have won.

Don't get me wrong - I'd like to see more of this - there's far more entertaining racing. But entertainment doesn't give a greater probability of winning - apparently boring does.
