If i could have one. Id go for it !!!!!
This will be max air oc possible card. So if someone does not like/care to sli like me and got Air cooled case.

i expect they do !!!!!.... they definitely have loads of GTX580s on EBAY Hong Kong/ Taiwan, in fact; it was where i was originally going to get one from, theirs are different `` aftermarket custom cards`` from ours though :D

these Chinese copy everything so easily, because they only pay their manufactuing staff £1 an hour, you should see their Radio controlled model aircraft/ boats etc..... it's flipping amazing.... i'm surprised it's not illegal, they pirate everything

Someone should buy one to bench it as I doubt they'd even perform as well as a regular 680 due to lack of copyrigt law enforcement in China so they end up making cheap substandard copies of everything. Reminds me of a Chinese car tbh if anyones seen the Top Gear episode where they went to China ;)
 
all I am saying in the matter is what the foxtrot, that thing looks like a city skyline rather than a graphics card, there ain't no way I would be comfortable hanging that on me motherboard, may as well mount a couple of house bricks in me computer!

can't believe cooling like that exists, it has to be one of the most pointless exercises ever, all that over engineered cooling and you'll get better performance from a simple, humbled water block. like the cooler on my 4870X2, it quite a large cooler, pulled it off, stuck two modified Maze V water blocks on there and Caldera heat sink, temperatures plummeted and the card takes less space and weighs less than it did to start with!

+1 for no more time wasting with pointless, over-elaborate air cooling, just make high-end cards water cooled, quieter, more compact, more efficient and tons cooler most of the time. :confused:

their RC MODEL boats are rubbish, they dont use enough fiberglass, their Electric engines are dreadful, but the Japanese are good....

that 680 looks cheap and nasty as does their older 580, i saw one for 250 dollars, but by God it was bad.

so ignore ebay HONG KONG....it's not easy to get on anyway !

the Chinese have the technology yes, because i think some of my stuff in my Sig came from China anyway !!!!!!!!.... it's just these smaller ``pirate fly by night outfits``

It is illegal - they just don't care :p

No Chinese court is going to prosecute a business for copyright infringement of another countries product - it'd cripple the Chinese economy.
