Chinese knock off brake and clutch levers?

I ordered some Gold Levers & Bar ends off E-Bay that came today, Levers cost 15 quid, Bar ends were 8 quid.
Opening the pack I was well shocked at how beefy & strong the levers look & I'd think nowt about putting them on my old Shiver & using them.
For 15 quid it's well worth a look yourself but I tell ya I'm ordering some for my Trophy, Just got to decide what colour to get now.

I can link you up to the Supplier I got them from if anybody's interested, There only 15 quid a pair but they do take a fair while to come, Maybe 10 days, Can't remember but over a week.

Hit us up I'd like some for my r6

Back in the day, maybe 2008 the wife bought some proper Pazzo levers at £120, they were great. A little later, probably 2009, I noticed some Chinese Pazzo looking levers on eBay for about £30, at the time no-one had really bought a set and most people were scared to buy them.

I took the chance and they were great. All the bits between the copies and real could be inter-changed with a perfect fit. Since then I've bought sets for 3 other bikes, all perfect fits, not faded (only bought black anyway) and work perfectly.

You are literally throwing away your money if you spend £100+ on Pazzo levers. I know this wont convince everyone as some people still think 'Its from China, its crap' but lets face it, everything is made in China pretty much, obviously they can make quality items, but do you think for a second that theres £100 worth of materials in Pazzo levers? Thats like saying theres £650 worth of hardware in an iPhone.

Yeah, stuff from China - it's getting much better, I had to order some bits for my CB400 (clock surround and inners) and I was really surprised by the quality.

Now, if we're taking a set of Brembo Radial RCS 19's, then China can't touch that level of quality, but give them 10 years... ;)

Now, where's that members market :D

It was the same with Japan when they started producing electronics etc and we all know how that turned out.

My levers are perfect 17k miles, 3 track days and 3 years later. Don't pay £120 quid, it's mental, mine were £16 delivered!

I ordered from them on 20 April, I will update here when they arrive.

(Delivery estimate: Wednesday, 29 April 2015 - Wednesday, 20 May 2015)

If you had ordered the recent revision, last year the design changed, direct from the2wheels as a couple of people on the Tiger 800 forums did recently, they would have arrived in just under a week ;)

It's hit and miss with Chinese stuff. I've had some really good cheap stuff from there and also some absolute rubbish. I'd risk Chinese levers on my old Hornet, but no chance they'd be coming near a newer bike - they might be fine, but I'd rather spend a bit more and know that they will fit, look and be perfect.

They arrived today!
First impression is really good.

Yeah pictures please of them on the bike.
I took a chance on Chinese brake discs (and it doesn't come any bigger than that as chances lol)... and they've been stunning... absolute quality... done 5k miles on them, still perfect, not a bit of rust on them... not warped... done 3 track days and tours... and they've not let me down at all... best money I'd spent. Two fronts and a rear in a pack... think it was £129 notes all in... yet to buy the EBC equivalents... £300+... was it risky? Of course it was... do I ever think that I have chinese discs on? Nope... not anymore... they've proven their worth simple as what... they look awesome (wavey) and felt and constructed superbly.

Nevermind racing the TT - that's what I call having balls, using Chinese disks! :p

I will take pictures when I install them, but it is going to take a while because I want to send my bike to the 1st service without many modifications (already have some, so I prefer to hold a little bit before doing more)... 250 miles to go...

Twigs would look better than OEM levers.

They look good but a lot of us knew they would as they always do. Also can't you remove that label? It was one of the first things I did when I got mine.
