This really is a must see for anybody into ancient history & archaeology.
Get you recorders on.

DOCUMENTARY: The First Emperor
Channel: Channel 4
Date: Saturday 1st July 2006
Time: 19:00 to 21:00 (starting in 1 day)
Duration: 2 hours.
Another chance to see The First Emperor which with exclusive access to new archaeological finds reveals the secrets of one of the most powerful men who ever lived. Qin Shi Huang Di forged an empire that outlasted Rome by a thousand years and ruled over ten times more people than the pharaohs.

Are these pyramids extending from the ground upwards? Cause from the looks of the picture (although may just be google Earth...they look to going into the ground...inverted so to say

That is just the perspective. If you turn the picture around it no longer looks like that.

Edit: Someone beat me to it. (or rather I didn't read that far down ^^)

also whats that thing about the crystal skulls is that myth or fact?

Depends which of many rumours you are referring to, but it is certain that there is a skull known as the Mitchell-Hedges skull which is composed of a near perfect piece of clear quartz with a level of craftmanship that is believed to be unobtainable using present technology. It is also believed that the skull is aincient in origin, and it's owners claim to have found in South America (British museum dispute this). Who and how it was made remains unknown.

One of the 13 aincient skulls can be seen in the British Museum, although they have suggested it is a 'fake' after finding tool marks on a part of the artefact.

Yes, 13 with a master skull. The numbers keep repeating, 12 disciples and one master!

I'd like to know what will happen to the skull soon. Anna Mitchell-Hedges is in her 80s at least, I hope she chooses it's next owner very, very carefully.

Think I'm going to have to read up about it, always been intrested in this type of thing. Don't know anything about this one. Do you no why it can't be reproduced shurly with CNC and laser things can be created down to nano meters or below?

Yonaguni is amazing. I watched a brilliant documentary on it at least two years ago. Even Stevie Wonder can see its man made but the sceptics say its natural.

It can be 'reproduced' and has been, but current techniques leave microscopic marks whereas the Anna-Mitchell Hedges skull has none. It is also cut from an exceedingly rare piece of near-perfect quartz, and the jaw and skull were made from the same piece (meaning that no mistakes could have been made)
