Chips £

There are three chippies near mine and they are roughly the same:

Chippy 1: Small £1.10 Large (which can feed three people) £1.40

Chippy 2: Small £1.30 Large £1.60 (half a scoop more than the small)

Chippy 3: Small £1.25 Large £1.50 (About the same as chippy 1)

I know there have been a few times I have got back from town on a night out and at closing time they just empty the chips into buckets to get shot of em.

I think it's £1.50 down the road from me and they only do one size like a medium sized box but if you get chips+beans etc the chips cost the same but you get far more as they use a much larger box

Paid £1.50 yesterday for a medium portion which was frankly rather small. Think the large was £2.50? By the beach though so expected to scam tourists.

Cod was 3.50

£1.50/£1.90

Although I mainly cook fish and chips at home because they don't use beef dripping, and if you ask me, beef dripping is the only way to go.

£1.30 for a medium, £1.50 for a large (which is huge).

Shame they are more often than not rubbish

yea chips were so much nicier in the 80's and 90's.

these days whenever get chips they are nearly always oily and try to stick together from the moisture even though they were only just served :S

I like it when chips are slightly crispy but maybe I'm weird?

Rapeseed has made chips rubbish most place near me "class it as vegetable oil" when its not its been blended with this cheap horrid oil that allot people cant digest too well.

im pretty sure my local charge £1.50 a portion or £2.25 for large at the moment, ive not had chips from there for years though as they are allways firm and dry like they've been kept warm for too long :/
