chipset block

well water always... or else I would say heatsink instead of block. :P

NB and SB although which chipset dont think really matters...
since these blocks usually have mounting holes that are wuite versatile..
one thing is for sure.. it wont be nvidia chipset..

currently sitting on an Abit p35
was considering to change platform though... an x38 or a p45.. haven't deside yet

however I allready have a spear pump and rad.. and with the heat of these summer my mobo is frying a bit.... so though getting a block is the least I can do

Swiftech MCW30 Chipset cooler - Pretty versatile and will fit most.

Or Google for

" EK Waterblocks " , bit more specialised when it comes to NB/SB and mobo type.

Both perform well.

isn't swiftech's block one of high restriction..?
I have an L20 pump lying around somewhere which is quite weak to be honest.

EK I know have good gfx blocks... havent heard anything about their chipset block though

anything else...?

hmm.. they have a very nice pdf file that shows all chipset compatibility.
very nice indeed...

especialy since it includes mofset blocks as well... something that made me consider an asus mb over abit's quad gt

however they dont list asus p45 p5q deluxe :/

very nice bloc... to be honest that was exactly the kind of plate design I was looking for.

Only thing putting me down is the plexi top... they tend to crack easily :(
(it happened to me)

I haven't used DD since the TDX. DD aren't quite at the cutting edge anymore but a chipset block is a chipset block I guess as they are restrictive. Just linking to DD as an option.

I still have my Silverprop chipset block that isn't made anymore.

I've a couple of the XSPC X2O chipset blocks and they do the job well. Shiny too.

cool tnx for all the info!!

I think I am gonna mod my xspc vga block and use it for a while..
utleast untill I decide which way I am gonna go (EK or other)

it's gonna give me something to over the wkend :D since all the beaches are gonna be packed
