CHOICE: 1440p with Ultra Ray Tracing or 4K with no RT (same performance levels)?

3440 X 1440 UW no contest.
I agreed that this was ultimate gaming experience until I recently acquired the muscle to use VSR to boost up to 5160x2160 UW! I just don't have the power to have the 4K UW + ray tracing. So it's a tough call between 3440x1440 + RT and 5160x2160 no RT, hence asking the brethren for opinions...

Would you enable DLSS if you didn't need the extra performance it adds? I thought it was a bit of a compromise between visuals and performance or does it actually look better?

I cant see the difference at all tbh on DLSS on balanced at 4k in games, but all it feels butter smooth with the increase in FPS.

Smoothness is part of high fidelity visuals.

Found a nice compromise with an in between resolution of 3840x1620 and RT at high which give me an average of around 65 FPS. Am I missing out on by much not going ultra in the ray tracing?

I played it with RT on around two years ago on my RTX2080Ti, it wasn't maxed but performance was fine from what I remember at 1440p. Worth leaving on even if you have to drop it from Ultra imo.

DLSS was awful though back then, left it disabled so you're not missing anything there, doubt they've updated it.

I used RTS for the 1st time only last week, I will use it whenever it is available now I rate it that highly and for people who say there is only xx amount of games they always leave out Watchdogs legion which is a totally different game with RTS and is stunningly beautiful and RTS adds so much to it. (I played for a month without it b4 my new rig came)

Ray tracing was underwhelming to say the least, native ultrawide 1440 is the sweetspot. 4k when I start going even more blind.

Not sure how anyone is impressed with cyberpunk graphics even fully maxed it looks about 10 years old.

Raytecing or not we seem to be stuck at the moment graphics wise.
