Clearing can often throw up some surprises in fact you can sometimes get into some top20 Uni's with C's or even lower. Remember the University's need to fill the places.
If i went for a place through clearing, wouldn't that mean i would have to chuck away my unconditional offers and go out a whim as i would need to leave it so late ?

The foundation year at UWE will prob cost you £2100 or similar.
A 1 year Access Course at your local college will cost less or nothing and get you entry to lots of Uni's, UWE included I would expect.
Foundation years are often good for a variety of subjects, but sometimes are used as a money making tool by some universities. Not suggesting UWE are doing this, just a heads up.
Lots of places are doing shonky games courses which are Multimedia with a twist, careful which one you choose.
Email in trust if you want any more advice, I'm an admissions tutor so have a bit of inside knowledge
Well i was more just wondering about the clearing aspect of things as i was sure that if you went for clearing then you had to throw your current offers away and wait and hope you get in. Deadline for replies is drawing closer and closer....
Not that I know of unless you happen to know someone in the admissions department of the relevant uni, clearing is (rather obviously) just for places that they can't fill normally whether that be for people not getting the requisite grades or dropping out because they don't want to go. Occasionally people even do better than expected and drop out for that reason also so essentially you have a lottery. Sorry that isn't any help but that is the way it is.
That sucks, looks like im gonna have to stick with my original plan then of possibly trying to go there after my first year. Theres no way i could apply for uclan, then try for clearing and if i got in drop uclan and go ?
