choices for gaming/downloading isp

ok so im getting my mac code from aol in the next few days and my service ends on the 15th of august

so what im wondering is when i sign up to adsl24 do i give them the 15th as my start date or can i start it asap(5-7 working days from signing up)

and if i get it started it asap will the two isp's conflict or can they get along peacefully till the 15th when aol ends

You're migrated from one ISP to the other, your contract and billing with the ISP is a separate to this. Just give them the mac and await the change.

I am at present setting people up on talktalk on my exchange as they are the LLU provider for my exchange. I pay only £4 more and have the adsl2+ package and connect at 19meg consistently download at 17mb+, and I am gaming all day in a flight sim game (IL2).

Wouldn't touch an enta reseller with a barge pole - and avoid BT they are horrendous for gaming atm...

Best bet is to look at the packages fast.co.uk, AAISP and IDNet have to offer.

Used Enta for about 18 months until recently. Connection was always rock solid (22ms~).

as per the 1st post talktalk is the onlu llu provider at my exchange and as of the 14th post they are at capacity at my exchange

As a matter of interest, what is your exchange? It can be checked to see when the increase in capacity is scheduled and it may fit in with your planning.
