Choices.. GSX 650F, SV 650S, ER 6F

I got my Bandit 650 September last year, after just passing my test.
It was fine over the winter, used it on the mostly dry days.

However, now the warmer weather has come round I wish I had gone for the SV!
Nicer engine (IMO), lighter and generally all round sportier, if a touch down on power.

I'd say go for the ER6F. I had a Versys and the engine is terrific at real world speeds. IL4's like the one in the GSX650 are a little bland in my opinion.

I settled on and ordered a GSX 650F. My main factor was, it was the most comfy for me and felt very stable on the motorways i commute on. I know its based on old tech, but its well refined and robust. I just didn't feel right on the slightly smaller, lighter bikes.

I they just felt like they'd be labouring if i decided to ride to france. But they were all great fun to try out

It will take 2-3 weeks to take delivery.

The Versys took me on a 1400 mile trip to Belgium and France just fine
