Choices..

I've got the upgrade bug...and I have a few options.

Replace DS3 with Asus PK5 (the DS3 won't run 4*1gb sticks).

Replace E6300 @ 2.8 with Q6600

Not quite sure what to do...

TBH at the moment i would wait for the new Mainboards, X38, X48 to come out in a couple of weeks, and the new Peryn processors. Upgrading now seems prtty pointless there the perfomance fain will be minimalistic

Stamp on that bug, its just after your money.

So why can't you run 4x1gb sticks on the DS3 ? Sounds a little odd.

It just won't work. Running 4*1gb sticks caused memtest errors...however the RAM was perfectly fine.
