The Seagate Barracuda pro comes with 2 year recovery warranty. No 100% guarantee of recovery but a deal breaker really.
which from all these are better in performance, speed, reability?

Of the Western Digital drives the most reliable there are the WD Ultrastars, they have NoTouch Ramp Load to increase reliability.

https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=VBS23cDfqYA

I have been running WD Enterprise drives in my desktop/workstations for years with out any issue, I honestly believe they are the best. I have some 2TB WD Gold drives in my current i7 8700 software development computer, and for HDD's they are fast and surprisingly quiet for 7200rpm drives.

Regarding the Barracuda pro, don't know much about these but expect they will be more reliable and faster then the non pro versions so probably quite a good drive also.

tell me something the ULTRASTAR 8TB DATA CENTER INTERNAL
https://www.overclockers.co.uk/wd-u...ise-hard-drive-hus728t8tale6l4-hd-55p-wd.html is better for gaming against https://www.overclockers.co.uk/wd-6...formance-hard-drive-wd6003fzbx-hd-551-wd.html 6TB BLACK 7200RPM 256MB CACHE?

which from these 2 is faster, better performance., better material quality , and etc?

can the ULTRASTAR 8TB DATA CENTER INTERNAL be used for destop use? like black?
because black westerns are performance drives

for destop use which is better? ULTRASTAR 8TB DATA CENTER INTERNAL or 6 TB BLACK 7200RPM 256MB CACHE?

If you want a high capacity drive for running games from, I would choose the 6TB WD Black in this case.
ULTRASTAR 8TB DATA CENTER INTERNAL 8TB and baracuda pro 8TB arent good like 6TB WD Black for gaming?

some people told me that for gaming the best are ULTRASTAR 8TB DATA CENTER INTERNAL 8TB and baracuda pro 8TB . and they said that these 2 hardisks are better from 6TB WD Black for gaming? do you agree or disagree?

Honestly, and you're going to think im nuts, just google this and you'll see what I mean "8tb external hard drive"

I got an 8tb Seagate external hard drive for half the price of those that I just opened up, removed the drive which was just a standard 8tb SATA hard drive in a caddy and stuck it in my PC as an internal hard drive, make sure if you choose this route to keep the box and caddy for warranty purposes.

As already stated, every hard drive has a ramp up time, day to day use between any hard drive you wouldnt notice any difference.......unless you run benchmarks all day long.

from all these drives you will see difference my friend

all these hardisks arent the same in performance and etc this i believe//

example blue western and rednas pro are slower in gaming from black and baracuda pro?? and ULTRASTAR 8TB DATA CENTER INTERNAL ?

i believe all these hardisks have positives and negatives ..

The 8TB Barracuda Pro and 8TB Ultrastar DC are likely to be the fastest performers, as they won't have to move the heads as far to seek the same data, and may come with denser platters for higher sequential bandwidth. The 6TB Black and 6TB X300 will fall in line as slightly slower, with the 6T Blue taking up the bottom of the performance spectrum.

I would expect the Ultrastar to have the highest average reliability, followed by Black, followed by Barracuda Pro, followed by the Blue/X300 with similar "consumer" grade build quality.

do you agree or disagree?

The WD Ultrastars are more durable then the WD Blacks, that in turn are durable than say a WD Blue. This is backed up by MTTF in the WD spec sheets.

I would go for the 6TB WD Black however, as the firmware on it will be more suited to application / game loading.

When I mentioned no ramp load before was getting mixed up with dynamic fly height technology. The following is for the older RE drives, but gives an idea of improvements made to a WD enterprise class drive. That said for the OP the WD black is probably best as WD actually state they can be used for games drives.

what you mean when you say that 6TB WD Black however, as the firmware on it will be more suited to application / game loading.??

why you believe that WD Ultrastars arent for gaming like black drives?/ can you tell me the reasons please?

the filmware from WD Ultrastars will not be suited to application / game loading.??

also the blue western drives are better from black drives for gaming?

I've always had Seagate's. Never had any problems with them, although there has been some unreliable models, I think it was a 3TB one that wasn't that great.

AFAIK blue drives are 5400 RPM and they are not suitable for gaming although you can run games from them, depends on the game.

SO BLUDRIVES are not suitable for gaming

SO do you believe that baracuda pro 8TB is better in speed, performance, pluters and etc against black 6TB?? for destop use/?
ALSO the ULTRASTAR 8TB DATA CENTER is better from 6TB BLACK 7200RPM 256MB for gaming, speed, and etc?

some people claim that ULTRASTAR 8TB DATA CENTER is better from 6TB BLACK 7200RPM 256MB for gaming, speed, and etc? is it true?
ALSO WHAT IS YOUR OPINION FOR THE Toshiba X300 6TB HDD And the 8TB RED PRO 7200RPM 256MB are these 2 hardisks for gaming?

This thread is a little crazy... anyway, OP should at least work out which drives are 5400rpm and rule them out (WD Red, WD Blue). Regarding WD drives, they advertise Black as their performance desktop drive, so that is probably the one to go for.

Check some reviews to compare the Barracuda Pro, but I believe the non-pro drives are all shingled now??? If so, I would stay away. The ones in external caddies are almost certain to be shingled.

I don't know about the Enterprise grade data centre drives, but I would expect them to have firmwares that are better suited for a server than a desktop.

Short version... just compare Barracuda Pro and WD Black... probably not much real life performance difference between them!

but i dont understand why some people say that baracuda pro 8TB is faster in performance and everything from western black 6TB

Read some reviews... I looked at a couple after my last post, and the general feeling I got was that the Barracuda Pro is actually faster than the WD Black, however, reviews rarely had new models of both, and rarely the same capacity drives for apples-to-apples comparison. That said, I don't think you will feel a real life difference in performance between these two, so look at price and warranty rather than performance when comparing which of these two to buy.

why you believe that Barracuda Pro is actually faster than the WD Black,? can you tell me the reasons please?
