Choose me my economics essay title (1 or 2) and I'll do it...(no help needed)

I'd probably do 1 but 2 would be easy enough as well. I think there would be more to talk about in the first one though. You could talk about all the different kinds of unemployment and relate these to bond prices. Both nice enough essays. I loved economics.

Just realised I've got distracted from my own essay which I really should get back to - "Critically discuss the opportunities and challenges of developing closer partnerships between schools, families and communities". I hate Education :mad:
 
I would say that Sloman is too basic for degree-level economics, except perhaps as an introduction. In its credit, it is very readable and some of the passages on economic history are good.

Blanchard is excellent.

It was the core text for my first year principles course, so yeah it's basic but it's great for easing yourself into a general topic.

Blanchard waffles too much. Mankiw is not only better in terms of material covered, its a lot more concise.
