Choosing a GPU

Just wanting a bit of advice about which card I should choose -

I'm looking to spend around £150 and looking at the AMD range. I currently have a Radeon Saphire 6770 HD.

Liking the look of the 6850 or 6870 instead but there are a few variations and not sure if it's worth going for the 6870 as I understand you can overclock the 6850 anyway?

Also with the new range out, is it worth me holding out a bit longer?

I would wait a wee bit longer and look to get a 1Gb 6950 for around £150 when the 7870\50 cards are out.

Well I recently saw one for £165, so not that far to go to hit £150, with the new cards out fairly soon not too long. But quite a jump from 6850\70 to a 6950, so worth waiting.

Is that a 1gb card you've seen at that price or 2GB?

1Gb mate, thats why I was recommending it over the 1Gb 6870\50.

Ah OK - I just couldn't find any cards in that range when I looked. Now it makes sense.

Thanks for your advice, I think I will wait for a bit longer.
