Choosing a monitor... using rubbish for too long

So I've been using some awful F&H monitor for way too long for my spec of PC.
I want to upgrade to something better.
I like the classy styles of HP, Dell etc. Rather than the crazy red stealth bomber monitors.
I've been using an IPS monitor at work (HP E242 Elite Display) and think I want an IPS (or VA?) for home use too.

I think I want:
27"
16:9
1440p
100+hz
VA or IPS
G sync
Nicely styled if possible rather than gamer styled.

I think the c27hg70 fits the bill but can only find it in free sync not g sync. Is there anything else I should be considering? All price points.

I use the monitor for personal office use, CAD design and gaming.

Absolutely fantastic monitor.

Although I do hear people having issues when using certain freesync modes.
