Hey so you may know ive decided to upgrade and go to mini atx in a Corsair 350D, Decided to go for the Intel i5 4670k and the H100i cooler!

So Currently ive got,

Asus M5A97 pro
Amd FX4100
Msi 7950 3gb twin frozer
8gb corsair low profile ram
A50 corsair cpu cooler
650watt Corsair psu
CD drive

A friend has agreed to buy my cooler, cpu mother board (and some other ram) and my case! So tomorrow i'm just going to order all the parts and Build over my week off :D Plan on making a build log and putting this pc together my self
with proper cable management! (freind helped build last time and will oc for me if i want :D)

So what i will have is

Corsair 305D
Corsair H100i
Intel i5 4670k
Msi 7950 3gb twin frozer
8gb corsair low profile ram
650watt Corsair psu
Hard drives
Cdrive

I need Help choosing a mother board for (£80-£100?)
And just making sure all these part will fit (Psu?) and go together

Yeah There a bit more than i wanted to spend ,but he other ones are ugly and with such a big window/build around looks i think i might just be worth it! Lots of people see to be using the gene V might end up going for that and doing an all red system!

Are you using the 350d?

Still unsure what/if im goign to put cathodes in yet too!

I'm not using the 350D, looking to get the Parvum.

The sniper looks like a stunning board for the price. Check out reviews on Guru3D, it's a beast.

Looks good what you building it for gaming?

Yeah that's what im looking at just now And the reviews are good. Might just cough up and do it since this is my build to last (I have a habit of changing things haha ! )

I will be replacing my AMD FX 6300 with a 4670k towards the end of the year. I had planned for 4770k and before that X79, but money is tight now and my budget has been heavily slashed :( Yes, i'll be building it for gaming currently heavily into BF3 and eventually BF4. Would love to do a WC Parvum as they look amazing. Check out 8-Packs build log for pics.

Nice, glad to see you still have a project.. Was sad to hear the other one was on hold.

I agree with you, the cheaper boards are darn ugly. The gyrphon has good specs but that colour scheme.. Uuuuggghhh..

Sniper or gene, gene or sniper... Depends on what colours you like. :)

I cannot get too excited as nothing is a given. As soon as I start expressing an interest, something "more important" comes up.

I'm not a massive fan of the green colour scheme, but the specs of the Sniper is mind blowing. For the price you get, there is a hell of a lot of kit for your money as well as a well built board with UK RMA.

I'm still debating about modding my 600T as the case is very spacious and has loads of potential, money is the problem.

@chulainn: if you dont want more than 2 graphics cards, Micro would be ideal and the 350D is one shexy looking case.

So hard to decide think im probably just going to end up with the Gigabyte Z87M-D3H Intel Z87 Just can't justify the extra dough !

Tis a big old saving, though it limits you a little bit..

No dual GPU setup due to x16/x4 pci-e lanes.

It could also be voltage locked. The Z77M D3H wad voltage looked where the Z77MX wasn't.. I see no Z86MX so I can't be sure whether this non x is voltage locked or not...
